...for lack of a better name. Technically speaking it's just one of our normal Tuesday practices, save for the fact that we've actually managed to take a break from our own small group practices to watch other groups prac.
And because we all love pictures...
"城里的月光", starring ET as Calin
"She's Out of My Life", starring ET as himself.
The group premieres Rock DJ!
The girls pose for a colour-coordinated picture. Idea for costumes, anyone?
More photos scheduled to be up next week, after our pre-full dress rehearsal full dress rehearsal :) And yes, we'll probably look more glammed up this time around, we promise!

Hey everyone reading this blog?? Maybe it should be ANYONE READING THIS BLOG???
*quiet*
ok. it's official. nobody is reading the blog. and since nobody is perfect. MR PERFECT is reading the blog. *lame haha*
it's been a really tiring tuesday and the most exciting so far for me. we had mini presentation for my groups this week. i was really quite nervous about it. for the first time after so many practices hiding in the YIH toilet, we're finally seeing some light from the outside world and of course inevitably seeing light from outside world also meant seeing some "constructive feedback" from everyone. i'm not saying it's a bad thing though *seriously*
looking at the progress of our groups, we've indeed came a long way from no scores, to 1 part scores to what we're having now decent sounding groups. many of the groups have
pitched,
tuned,
bitched(over who comes late),
fought(over who gets to use the mikes),
snatched(each other's group member due to people singing for more than 1 group)
and
sweated(over the spoiled aircon at the cac room)
to reach this point in our concert preparation.
nevertheless, in the quest for perfection we are not stopping to celebrate our decent sounding groups but to continue to strive for the perfect sounding groups.
it's ok we know that most of our audience don't know our music and probably can't tell if the minor 7th chord is accurate or if the solo is a quarter tone flat (i can't tell, i've no music background) but we cannot excuse ourselves for our failure to give our best, in the quest for personal perfection, there's no room for second best.
brace yourself as we show case our best efforts on 28 june at UCC =)

There's been a lot of rushing around for a while now. Arrangers are trying hard to get their scores well, arranged, the publicity committee is battling to get the publicity material out on time and you have the designated blog "caretaker", who's trying to churn out decent posts that will hopefully, hype you up for the upcoming concert.
This is probably reminiscent (Yes, we plug our concert by conveniently slipping the theme into sentences. Would that be considered plugging? Or more like, re-iterating?) of all that has happened pre-Vocal Obsession II, which we promise, will be nothing like the upcoming Vocal Obsession III. (Read: It's gonna be a bigger blast this time round.) You can take our word cos we've got the eye-bags and the bruises to show for it. Actually, the bruises are mostly self-inflicted, given that certain administrative matters literally drive us up the wall.
With all that said, we think that you should gather by now just exactly how much VO 3 matters to Resonance. A Resonance without its own concert, will be like wine without caviar, like Rome without its Colosseum, like cheese fries without the cheese and mayonnaise, so on and so forth. So essentially, your support means the world to us although we reckon that most of you will turn up because so-and-so will be singing. But truth be told, you should turn up because ALL of us would be singing. Like what good old Janis Joplin has said before, all of us are selling our hearts on stage. There isn't a single member who is able to sing on that stage without putting in a considerable amount of time and effort.
Of course, as an added bonus, some of you may be pleased to know that a select-few eye candies are set to break some hearts on stage. Most have become listed as eye candies rather unwillingly, but judging from past experiences, we don't think that their female-fan base should be discounted in any way.
So what in the world is anyone waiting for?
Bring it on!
